A Six-Year Journey of Strength: Ahmad’s Complete Scoliosis Correction Story

Ahmad’s Journey

A journey that spanned 6 years…
Ahmad, from Palestine, was diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 10. He underwent his first minimally invasive spinal surgery to stabilize the vertebrae and halt the progression of the curve without affecting his growth or height.

After years of follow-up, Dr. Firas Husban performed a second surgery at age 16, once his growth was complete, to correct and stabilize the remaining curvature.

In the two photos, Ahmad appears with Dr. Firas, capturing a success story we are proud to have been part of every step of the way.

Final X-ray images of our brave patient Ahmad, following two successful surgeries to treat scoliosis:
The first surgery was performed at age 10 using minimally invasive techniques to halt the progression of the curve while preserving spinal growth.
The second surgery, done at age 16, involved spinal fusion from the third lumbar vertebra (L3) to the tenth thoracic vertebra (T10) to fully correct the remaining curvature.

The results reveal excellent spinal alignment and balance—reflecting years of dedicated, ongoing medical care.
All procedures were performed by Dr. Firas Husban.
